At TextileBook, trust is the foundation of our business. Because we store financial records, GSTINs, and customer data for your textile trading business, we treat your privacy with the utmost seriousness. This plain-language policy explains what we collect and how we protect it.

1. What Information We Collect

When you use TextileBook, we collect information you provide directly to us. This includes:

Account Information: Your business name, GSTIN, phone number, and email address.
Business Data: The invoices, products, ledgers, inventory records, and party details (customers/suppliers) you input into the system.
Usage Data: Basic logs on how you use our application to help us fix bugs and improve performance.

2. How Your Data is Stored & Isolated

We use a strict Tenant-Scoped Architecture. This means your data is cryptographically and logically isolated from every other business using TextileBook. Under no circumstances is your customer list, pricing, or stock data shared with, or accessible to, any other tenant on our platform.

3. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) AI Security

TextileBook allows you to connect your own AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Grok) for automated receipt and invoice scanning. Your API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We act strictly as a secure conduit. We do not use your financial documents to train generic AI models, and your data remains governed by the data privacy agreements you hold directly with your chosen AI provider.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide and improve the TextileBook service. This includes:

Generating your invoices and tracking your ledgers.
Sending WhatsApp notifications on your behalf (if enabled).
Providing customer support and troubleshooting issues.

We do not sell your data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Ever.

5. Data Export and Deletion

Your data belongs to you. You can export your ledgers and customer lists at any time. If you choose to cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will permanently delete your business records from our active databases within 30 days, in accordance with applicable legal and tax requirements.
